The Clothes Closet is a volunteer run service organization that serves over 1,000 RRISD families each school year. The volunteers assist families in selecting clothes for students and also assist with sorting, organizing and displaying all of the donated items.

 

Our once a month shifts are 2 hours, and the District greatly appreciates one or two volunteers from each school. If you are interested in donating 2 hours of your time, the shifts are always from 9:30 - 11:30 am on Thursdays.

This is truly a great service that allows all students to feel good about themselves and what they wear. The goal of the Clothes Closet is to make sure that every student is able to go to school in clean, comfortable and appropriate clothing.
